Swift - It’s a Personal Thing

There’s something about Swift that people just love – no news there, it’s the reason the stylish fun machine has been New Zealand’s favourite supermini for so long.

But what exactly is it that keeps people coming back for more? And how could we make it even more personal? By adding a range of customisation options that allow you to create your vision of Swift perfection. That’s how.

We started the ball rolling in May by kitting out five Swift GL models with tinted windows and 17-inch alloys, and then giving each one its own unique personality though body kits, custom graphics and striking paint features.

As dashing as the cars looked online, there’s nothing quite like watching a fleet of fun-loving Swifts on the road and so the five set out on a tour around the country. Like the finest runway models, they cruised the highways and showrooms, stopping for photos and to inspire Swift owners, old and new. In mid-May they were in Wellington; after a jaunt across the ditch to Blenheim, by the end of the month they were setting tongues wagging in Tauranga.

Dealers promoted the Swifts locally and encouraged people to come and vote for their favourite in order to win a cool iPad. Not to be outdone, many dealers quickly jumped in to create their own customised models which have created interest and opportunity for customers to drive their own personalised Swift like no one else has!

Customers seem to have taken this fun-ky Swift promotion to heart as in May Swift was the top-selling car model in the country and the buzz is continuing at dealerships.
