Raising the flag in South Auckland

In 2018 Southern Autos Manukau celebrates its fourth year – in style. They’ve recently added Suzuki to their stable, and as well as displaying vehicles in their showroom, they offer parts and workshop facilities. We managed to get a few moments with the very busy Andrew Craw, Southern Autos’ Dealer Principal.

“We added Suzuki in January 2018 and now have the full range on offer,” says Andrew. “They look great in our purpose-built facility opposite Westfield in Manukau City. Suzuki is such a fun brand with a fantastic product that really suits our customers.”

Due to their location Southern Autos’ clients come from every walk of life - from hard-working tradies and rural drivers, to townies, sports off-roaders, and everything in-between. According to Andrew, Suzuki now accounts for close to half of their business. “Since Suzuki joined the fold we’ve gone from strength to strength. We now have a 9 car showroom, 7 workshop bays, and 17 staff.”

Southern Autos is very active in the Manukau community, sponsoring Ardmore Marist Rugby, Royal Oak Racquet Club, Auckland Racing Club, and Glendowie Bowling Club. Andrew’s proud of what they’ve built and says loyalty is a big part of what makes them different. “We value our clients and take that little bit of extra time to make them feel special. A lot of our staff have been here since day one and we pride ourselves on being an enjoyable place to work and to visit.”
