Leukaemia & Blood Cancer NZ
Drive for a cure
Six New Zealand children and adults are diagnosed with blood cancers each day – that’s over 2,100 New Zealanders a year. Chances are you know one of them.
Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand (LBC) is the leading organisation in New Zealand dedicated to supporting patients and their families living with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood conditions.
With a vision to cure and a mission to care, this amazing organisation works tirelessly helping everyday Kiwis come to terms with this life-threatening disease. Last year, the frontline support services team covered more than 50,000 kilometres in their brightly coloured Suzuki Swifts; providing patients and their family and friends with emotional and practical support.
So next time Shave for a Cure or the Step up Sky Tower Stair Challenge rolls around, be brave and take a leap. Every little bit helps support those in need.
