SeniorNet
Introducing technology to seniors and older adults
SeniorNet brings older adults and technology together in a friendly, fun, and stress-free way. It’s a community training network that supports and motivates people over 50 who’d like to learn more about technology and what it can do for them, to enjoy and use it in their everyday lives.
Small, well-organised classes, with volunteer tutors around the same age as their students, run courses introducing them to computers, the internet, as well as a vast range of technology related subjects that could enhance their lives.
Members can learn how to do everything from simple word-processing to sending e-mails and surfing the net. Some simply want to learn how to use their mobile phone or gain the necessary skills and confidence to get the most out of information technology in their day to day life.
SeniorNet’s community training network covers the length and breadth of New Zealand, so to read the many success stories or find out more about SeniorNet and your nearest centre, visit www.seniornet.nz
As a long-time supporter, we have a very special offer for SeniorNet members to make it easier to drive away in a new Suzuki car or SUV.
