Cameron is considered to be New Zealand’s greatest Ironman Triathlete since the great Erin Baker. He has created history by winning the New Zealand Ironman for a record 7 successive years, placing 2nd (2001, 2005) and 3rd (2002, 2003) in the world championships in Hawaii too. He has started in 28 Ironmans and finished on the podium 23 times – making him the most consistent Ironman athlete in the world! In a career lasting over 20 years, Cameron has earned many accolades at home and abroad, including 2001 New Zealand Sportsman of the Year. In addition to his demanding career as a world-class athlete, Cameron is Patron of the NZ Cystic Fibrosis Association and a proud devoted Dad where he and his wife Jenny try to keep up with their two children Braeden (7yrs) and Joshua (5yrs).
