In a country where everyone is within easy reach of the sea, and where so many of us love the beach, swimming, boating and fishing, it’s hard to imagine what could be more important than a well-equipped marine search and rescue facility. Yet these organizations struggle to find the funding to carry out their important work. Suzuki New Zealand is proud to sponsor the Auckland Coastguard, the largest and longest serving unit in New Zealand. It has over 140 skilled volunteers dedicated to providing the boating public with a swift and reliable search and rescue service for saving lives at sea.
