Suzuki updates top selling KINGQUAD 400 Series
When the KINGQUAD 400 was introduced August 2007 it represented a big step forward from the Eiger series it replaced. Now with Suzuki about to release the 2010 model KINGQUAD 400 and it’s once again another improvement to one of New Zealand’s top selling ATV.

Equipped now with fuel injection the already economical 376cc motor will spend even less time at the fuel pumps with a Suzuki developed Fi system that carefully meters out the fuel whilst maintaining top performance. Almost unnecessarily Suzuki fitted a class leading 16 litre fuel tank which when compared to the Honda TRX420 is 2.4 litres larger. Already a standard feature on bigger capacity models fuel injection is more reliable on cold mornings and more efficient on hot days, conditions that really test the older carburetor system being replaced.
Along with fuel injection Suzuki have added an all new LCD digital instrumentation including speedometer, odometer, trip meter, clock and fuel gauge. The sealed and water proof instrumentation complements an ATV designed to meet New Zealand’s extremely tough farming conditions and for this reason Suzuki also tests extensively its ATV here in NZ prior to mass production.

Comparatively the Suzuki stacks up very well against the opposition boasting better ground clearance than the Honda 420 and a longer wheel base making the Suzuki very stable on the hills. And when traction is hard to find simply engage the 4 WD and let the torque sensing front differential do its work. With the previous model 400 already a proven formula it would be hard to argue that Fuel Injection and Digital Instrumentation are really the icing on the cake for this versatile ATV. Available in manual about March 2010 or Automatic CVT drive later in the year the KINGQUAD 400 will be quick to impress.
