Suzuki KingQuad 400 4X4 Manual or Automatic
Farm ATVs have to be strong, rugged and above all, reliable. So instead of experimenting with complicated solutions (like some of our competitors) Suzuki uses the latest technology to improve and simplify proven designs. Then before production starts, every new model is put through an extensive pre-production testing phase with real Kiwi farmers on real Kiwi farms. The result is the Suzuki KingQuad range, a family of super-rugged, ultra-reliable farm ATVs built for New Zealand conditions.
The KingQuad 400 is the most popular 4x4 in the range with a commercial chassis designed right here in NZ. It has the best mud protection money can buy – both drive shafts and splines are fully enclosed. The NZ specification model also includes heavy-duty wheel bearings and guard extensions, ultra-reliable sealed rear drum brakes and 4-Ply heavy duty tires – ready for the worst our unique environment can throw at it.
While some competitors cut costs by using only one shock, the KingQuad 400 features a rigid rear axle supported by twin shock absorbers. This spreads weight evenly increasing stability and reducing stress and maintenance. The 400’s torque sensing front differential is another Suzuki first. When it senses a wheel slip it feeds power to the other front wheel, actively increasing traction.
The Automatic KingQuad 400 LT-A features Suzuki’s tried and true Continuously Variable Transmission system. With a Kevlar reinforced belt, CVT just can’t be beaten. It’s strong, reliable and easy to service – plus it offers genuine engine braking for increased control. If you prefer a Manual, the KingQuad 400 LT-F has a rock-solid gearbox with the right ratios to do the job – whether it’s towing a heavy trailer uphill, or travelling the service roads.
Suzuki is committed to producing the best ATVs for Kiwi farmers. With an industry-leading 24 month 15,000km warranty, it’s no wonder the KingQuad 400 is New Zealand’s ideal farm ATV.
